Geert Wilders Fitna - Koran - Quran Bathroom Tissue?
A couple of days back, a friend of mine forwarded an email to me with a very interesting attachment - - macro picture of a roll of toilet paper on its holder. This is not an ordinary toilet paper but with versus of Koran on it! I thought it was kind of interesting to understand the thought of the creative inventor of this toilet paper and the reason behind the creation of this interesting and quite a sought-after product. Putting the controversial apart, I was trying to be in the shoes of these people and tried to understand things from their perspective.
Obviously there must be driving factor for this type of creativity to take place. Very obvious one is the urge to deliver certain messages to certain party. Upon reading the excerpt from the picture message, it seems like the creation of this bathroom toilet paper is in retaliation to the action of Keith Ellison, US Congressman swearing by Koran instead of Bible. The message is rather loud and clear.
You already knew what was the intention - - to provoke Muslims! I am very sure Muslims around the world will certainly react the way they did for the “Cartoons Issue”. But wait… just think for a second, what are these people doing? They print it, on their paper, with their money, for their own use, etc. it seems like nothing to do with the Muslims. The Koran doesn’t belong to Muslims; it has its own owner. Interestingly enough, what they printed is not Koran because Koran is recitation - - That which is recited, that’s what Koran meant. Those are just a representation of the Koran. Although Muslims and others should respect the representation of Koran, we can’t do much for those who refused.
If your real intention is to wipe out the Koran from the surface of the earth by flushing it down the toilet, you might want to learn that there are over 10 Millions Muslims walking on the surface of this earth who memorize Koran cover to cover - - words by words. These people could recite to you, direct from their memory, exactly as the verses you could read and verify on the paper, to the exact words and punctuation! Interestingly enough, majority of these people who memorize Koran are non-Arabs! And they all memorize it in Arabic!
What makes this possible? Because there is Only one Koran. Nobody can change it because there are so many people memorize it! And more importantly the Koran stated that it is always guarded against change!
Arabic is the original language the Koran was revealed and it has been maintained in Arabic ever since. Over 1.5 Billions Muslims on the surface of this earth memorize some portions of Koran in Arabic, every one of them. There is no scripture or book or anything like that on this surface of the earth come close to Koran in comparison. We have not discussed what is there in the Koran. Besides telling you about your spiritual belief, Koran also tells you every single detail of things that we only knew quite recently - - the development of human, formation of mountains, origin of the universe, clouds and many more.
You don’t have to read to know more interesting facts about Koran and Islam. With the advance in technology, we can simply download the MP3 files and listen when we are free - - while driving, jogging, eating, laying down, you name it. Arguing on our stand would not lead us to the truth. What is best is to reflect and ask the God to show us the way, sincerely. There is only One God, and if we sincerely seek for His guidance, he will guide us. Sincerity is the Key.

There are no laws that I know of, but you need to make sure their scanner will be able to read the bar code.
