Thinking of switching formula brands?
Has anyone tried the Members Mark (Sams Club brand) of formula that is comparable to Enfamil Lipil? My son is 4 months old, and has been on Enfamil Premium Lipil since about 8 weeks. I'm thinking of switching, just based on price - any experience with these two brands?
I know they offer samples of the formula so you can try it before you purchase in bulk. Go to http://www.membersmarkformula.com/free_sample.aspx and you can order. They will send you a full can of whichever you choose. I think you can order both as I now I did when my daughter was younger but that was 1 1/2 years ago. They may have revised the program since then. Parents Choice also offers free samples at http://www.parentschoiceformula.com/baby-formula-samples.aspx
Good luck and I hope this helps. I solely breastfed my daughter for the first 5 months but had to stop for medical reasons by 6 months. At that point I transitioned her onto formula and she drank all the samples without any issues. Some people will tell you that it's really rough on the baby's system to switch formulas but in reality, that advice is geared towards newborns. If your son has been on formula for 4 months and has had no issues, I doubt he will have a problem switching to the generic Members Mark or Parent's Choice. Good luck!
